Re: tip/map ratio effects on fuel demand

Dont worry about the above post, I realised I made a stupid omission in the data I had by not accounting for cam timing. If I feel the urge I might gather and sort data into rpm brackets with stable valve timing events and then try and look for this relationship; VE = A + B*(IMAP/EMAP), where A and ...

tip/map ratio effects on fuel demand

I've just installed an emap sensor and I am looking at how to integrate emap/imap (or tip/map) ratio to make a more robust fuel table for VE fluctuations caused by the pressure differential across the cylinder and hopefully improve accuracy at part throttle variation, WG operation etc. I could do th...

Auto Adjust Base Fuel cell w/Closed Loop Fuel Multiplier

So for tuning live on dyno, be really fast to hit a key and have the base fuel cell auto adjusted rather than using incrementing or hard type in of a figure as per Motec "quick lambda".

Re: odd wideband behaviour

the above is really a side topic now to lsu 4.9's, as i did resolve the initial issue by wiring the ecu direct to harness and bypassing the pnp adapter.

Re: odd wideband behaviour

I've ordered some thermocouple bits and pieces to log both the egt and the pipe surface temperature at the wideband install location. will be interesting to see what the environment is like at cold start. Will be very interested in the results of this - please share if you're willing :) Makes me wo...

Re: Any possibility of Real Dash support?

I got some test coding done for another user and we tested it out to work well. It doesn't require any support from Syvecs as such, but you need some general understanding of how to work your way around the datastream tables within SCal to understand what it is you are trying to achieve. The Real Da...
