Syvecs iPhone / iPad App - Classic

Post by Wez »

Hello All,

You may have seen there is a Syvecs app now available on the Apple App store.

The initial release uses either the stack stream or a fixed custom can stream via rs232 output, this is via the Syvecs Apple approved bluetooth module. The fixed can profile is based on the most commonly used setup from Syvecs.

I am currently working on a new release that has the following features :-

* User Assignable Display Output
* User Configurable CAN profile
* High / Low Peak Values
* Unit Selection
* Calibration Switching via PWM output
* Traction Control Switching via PWM output
* User Configurable Switch Output via 0-5v output

Little update 8-)

The output function is now working from within the App, there are two available that can be used for calibration and traction control switching with ten positions for each, just need to finish up the interface, this uses two inputs on the ECU.

Good job! Now I can switch to ipad from carpc.
I doubt I have spare input. Which inputs it uses and why two?

This version allows you to replace the two inputs into the ECU that you are currently using for calibration and traction control switches.

We are looking to implement cal and trc switching via rs232, im not sure on timescales, Ryan may have a better idea as it would require a firmware update for the ECU.

Regarding the ability to remember the last position a firmware update could be applied to the BT module where it was using the cal and trc outputs wired from the module.
