How would I go about setting up a a total fuel used output?
Basically its for an endurance car. I want to be able to display an acumulating Fuel used on the dash so that driver is able to report it over the radio. I also want to reset it from a button on the LR CAN keypad. We oviously caluclate fuel usage but it would be nice to have an accurate read out of what has actually been used so far.
Thanks, Dan

Another one to divert to FB.
I know Graham there was doing something similar to determine fuel sued during his hillclimb runs so as not to run out.
I guess a fuel level gauge is not suitable ?

Hi Dan! Setting up an accumulated fuel usage display is a fantastic addition for your endurance car. Here's a simple guide that I did
Install a fuel flow sensor in the fuel line for precise consumption data.
Connect the sensor to an onboard data acquisition system.
Develop a dashboard display for real-time accumulation monitoring.
Program a button on the LR CAN keypad for convenient resets.
spacebar clicker
Conduct thorough testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Integrate the data with the radio system for easy driver reporting.
Document the setup with clear instructions for the driver's use.
Add safeguards to prevent accidental resets or data corruption.
Regularly update software for optimal performance.
Periodically analyze accumulated fuel data for valuable insights.
