996 turbo S7+: MPG Scaling, Fuel Consumption - Injector Consumption Scaling

Hello,

Does anyone have the values for:
– Car Code 02 [MPG Scaling]
– Injector Consumption Scaling

for stock injectors?

I know the Injector Consumption Scaling should be injector size/60, but I’m not sure how to factor in the 3.8 bar FPR.

I have MPG Scaling set a 100, but the remaining driving range shown on the car’s dashboard doesn’t make any sense (it’s unrealistically high).

Thank you!

Nice concise topic. Below I’ll give the exact formulas, explain pressure / ethanol corrections, show how to compute fuel flow and MPG from injector specs and duty cycle, and walk through two worked examples (cruise and WOT). If you want, paste your exact injector cc/min rating, fuel pressure, measured duty-cycle (or vehicle speed + target MPG) and I’ll compute precise numbers for you.

Hi,

Injectors: 410 cc/min
Fuel pressure regulator: 3.8 bar (this is the only value I have; I don’t have a measured rail pressure)
Vehicle speed + target MPG: 19 mpg @ 70 mph

For some reason, the car currently estimates it can achieve around 39 mpg at that speed.
